We have worked with Doug’s Handyman Service for over ten years. Doug and his son Cory have cleaned our gutters, revamped one of our gutter/downspouts to work better, fixed doors, and put gutter covers on a difficult area on our roof. They are prompt, nice to work with, and clean up all their work areas, inside and out.
Doug and Cory’s personable style is a great asset. It is easy for us to ask questions about out home maintenance. When Doug and Cory were here in early winter getting the last leaves out of the gutters, we mentioned to him that we had some water leaking in the basement near the chimney. When Doug was on the ladder near our chimney, he noticed that the flashing had come loose, and water could run from the roof under the flashing. Doug was able to bolt the flashing back in place and caulk it. It rained the next day, and there was not a drop of water in out basement.
We’re happy to say that Doug’s Handyman Service is great!Without Doug and Cory’s ability to “keep a eye out ” for things, we would have had to call another contractor and pay for someone else explore, diagnose and fix the problem.

I found Doug several years ago when I needed help with gutter cleaning. Since then he and his son have helped me with numerous small projects including regular gutter maintenance, installing gutter screens, and minor repairs. They are prompt, professional, efficient, and reasonably priced. I am happy to recommend them for handyman services.

I highly recommend the services of “Handyman”. I recently purchased a condo and wanted some changes and updates made. Doug met with me and we did a walk through. The biggest project was removing the carpet and putting down hard wood floors. We also discussed putting in ceiling fans, shelves in closets and some changes in a bathroom. Doug asked me questions that I had not thought of and had excellent ideas that added special touches.
The biggest one are my spice drawers. (Many thanks to Cory, Doug’s partner) who came up with the fantastic idea. I have many spices in different size containers. I explained that I wanted them to be in drawers. I now have custom built space for my spices. The custom space for the spices look like they were an original feature of the cabinet. I also had a hanging glass piece that needed a place to be displayed. Doug came up with a unique way to hang it, have it in a window but still keep the original pattern.
They were always on time, If dates or times need to be changed, he would always call to see that that was workable!
